SRF02 Negative Readings

Hello,

I frequently get negative readings from the SRF02 but it seems that the readings are approximately correct if I ignore the negative sign. for example, I was measuring a distance of 140cm and the SRF02 reading was -122cm. Can anybody explain that. Can I ignore the negative sign and consider the value every time?

Hiya,

Sounds like the I2C is not working correctly to me, are you using a hardware I2C port or software implemented? Try posting your source code, it may be that the clock hold part of the I2C spec is not being used correctly.
