Hitachi H48C with I2C usb

Postby efrag » Fri Sep 21, 2007 8:23 pm

Hello,
Is it possible to interface the "Hitachi H48C Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module" from Parallax directly with the usb-i2c? If anyone have any idea please help. :?:

I have to build a circuit to measure vibrations using the USB port and I already have those two devices in my lab.

Thanks

Hello,

I want to do the same. My approach is to use the GPIO14 and some software. However, this would be very fast. Do you have an better idea? Maybe program a PIC?

Best
Christian

I've done it using a basic stamp which is very easy, you just copy the code from the manual !!! but I wanted to have a simple device with out any cables, power supplies etc . I'm looking at PICAXE chip now which I think might do it as easy as basic stamp.

Good idea, I just order one PICAXE, too. Let's keep in touch to its share software.
