using a RD01 with a Basic Stamp II

ive edit the program based on the http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/files/srf08_addr.bs2 site using the B0 address...... i still cant get my RD01 to work..... the thig is that after setting the adress, i dont know how to set the register........ from my understanding i need to set the register to 15 to select the mode..... and under mode i presume i need the mode to be either 2 or 3..... ( i need to run the motors in synchronise) then select register 1 before selecting the speed........ so how do i go about it...
i'm pretty sure that my adress is B0 because in the md23 data sheet..... for the adress it be B0 it would be a long flash.... followed by nottin..
